When it comes to mixing, we love the warmth of analog gear. We truly believe that the results
of working this way achieve a three-dimensionality and depth that’s clearly superior to
purely digital mixes.
In general, and preferably, mixes are done as attended sessions, meaning with the artist present if they
wish. But we can also work online, doing revisions for each mix if needed.
The time each mix takes varies depending on several factors (number of tracks, complexity of the
piece, length, etc.). That’s why we charge by the hour rather than per song, since every project is a
world of its own.
We prefer assisted mixing, with the artist present in the studio,
because decisions are made faster and the result is a better fit
to what you have in mind. When that’s not feasible, we also work
online mixing, with revisions for each track until we finalize it.
The time required for each mix depends on the number of tracks, the complexity of the arrangements, and the length of the song. Charging by the hour, not by the song, is the most honest way we’ve found to price our work: you pay for the actual work your material requires.
