Ib\u00e1n P\u00e9rez is a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer whose sonic vision was forged by the vibrant independent music scene in Glasgow, Scotland, where he resided for over a decade.
It was in Glasgow that he established himself professionally, sharing the stage with influential figures such as Kid Congo, Omar Souleyman, Felix Kubin, Camera Obscura, Polar Bear, and Ben Wallers, among others. His solid technical background includes advanced studies in music production and drums, complemented by specialized mastering courses with experts like Russ Hepworth-Sayer and Paul Baily (a former Abbey Road engineer) at Motto Sound UK, as well as a masterclass with Mazen Murad (Metropolis Mastering UK). <\/p>

At Terraforma, Ib\u00e1n prioritizes the unique personality of the artist or group. His goal is to capture and enhance the distinctive elements of the production, and then craft mixes that stand out for their space, depth, and dynamics. <\/p>

Active Musician and Composer<\/strong><\/p>

Beyond sound engineering, Ib\u00e1n is an active musician.
